Please note: All of our Majesty Maltese puppies are seen and evaluated by our exclusive veterinarian at VCA Fort Collins Animal Hospital, Dr. Heather Steyn  (970)204-4567.  She oversees the care we give our puppies and helps us to ensure the healthiest puppies possible.  Dr Steyn is not only a vet but she is also is a show breeder and has been most of her life.  Dr Steyn is a canine reproductive specialist and is known across the country fro her knowledge and her incredible success she has achieved. Please feel free to contact her in regards to any of our Maltese or the care we give them, she loves our Maltese!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

·          This Dog is sold as an AKC purebred Maltese and no breeding rights. AKC papers withheld until proof of spay/neuter is received by breeder.

·          To the best of Seller’s knowledge, this puppy has no viral or bacterial diseases or communicable diseases when leaving the sellers home.

·          The breeder will guarantee said puppy against all proven life threatening GENETIC DEFECTS for a period of two years.  Buyers must notify breeder upon the diagnosis of any life threatening genetic defect.  Any medical costs incurred before the notification of the breeder are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser.  In the event such a condition develops the breeder will as his/her option;
a) Replace said puppy or
b) Refund a percentage of the purchase price towards medical costs and the buyers will retain ownership of the animal. The breeders MAXIMUM liability shall be NO MORE than $_____which is 50% of the purchase price.

·          The general health of this dog is guaranteed against any communicable diseases for three (3) working days from time of its arrival to your home via airline, or from date of departure from our residence (whichever is applicable).  At that time, should a licensed veterinarian in your state certify that said puppy has a communicable disease preventing normal healthy development; Buyer has 48 hours to return said puppy to Seller along with all materials given, including any paperwork.  A certified/signed document will be required from the licensed veterinarian in your state substantiating the ill health of said puppy, including verification from the veterinarian that the microchip was scanned and verifying the number scanned.  In the event said puppy is returned to Seller under this agreement, a full refund of the purchase price along with any veterinarian fees and medications up to 50% of the purchase price.  The refund will only be returned after puppy and all materials are returned and with required proof along with the certification from veterinarian as stated above.  Buyer will forfeit this return and refund rights if the above 48-hour timeframe is not adhered to.

·          If the puppy should die from viral or bacterial diseases or communicable diseases for three (3) working days from time of its arrival Buyer must obtain an autopsy of said puppy at Buyer’s expense by a licensed veterinarian in their state to receive the refund stated above.  A certified/signed document will be required from the licensed veterinarian in your state substantiating the death of said puppy, autopsy results, and including verification from the veterinarian that the microchip was scanned and verifying the number scanned.  Seller reserves right to have DNA performed on dog and microchip scanned by another veterinarian prior to burial or cremation of dog or Buyer forfeits all refunds.  If all requirements are met, Buyer has right to refund, refund which will include purchase price of puppy and veterinarian fees and medications up to 50% of the purchase price.

·          We will ship puppy only when it is safe for puppy to travel on non stop flights.

·          No puppy will be held without a non-refundable deposit of: $500.00 (five-hundred dollars) this will be applied to purchase price.

·          Seller does not guarantee any ancestor’s in pedigree behind the sire and dam as she/he was not present at previous generation, seller does not guarantee size or confirmation of said puppy; by reading and signing this contract buyer is in agreement.

·          Following AVMA guidelines in your state, Buyer agrees to provide appropriate medical care for this dog and humane treatment along with (1) one dental cleaning yearly and physical.  Upon signing this agreement Buyer affirms to complete: yearly medical check-ups, keep current with required immunizations and rabies vaccinations according to the laws in Buyer’s state, heartworm checks and heartworm preventative for this dog and any licenses required by law.  Buyer agrees not to restrain this dog on a rope or chain; to provide adequate housing and to leash the dog or provide a kennel run or fenced yard for outdoor activities.

·          If Buyer decides to sell or otherwise dispose of this dog the Seller has first rights of refusal, the seller must be contacted to return the puppy to the breeder to place in a new suitable home.

·          Upon physical possession of this dog, Buyer agrees to be responsible for all costs and expenses related to this dog. Buyer agrees to provide one picture a year of dog back to seller.

·          Seller is bound by all agreements in this document only to the original purchaser. No other guarantees apply to the purchase of this dog except those stated in this agreement/contract. This agreement constitutes the entire meaning and understanding between the parties and is entered into by both parties for the protection and well being of this dog.

Upon physical possession of this dog, Buyer agrees to be responsible for all costs and expenses related to this dog. Seller is bound by all agreements in this document only to the original purchaser. No other guarantees apply to the purchase of this dog except those stated in this agreement/contract. This agreement constitutes the entire meaning and understanding between the parties and is entered into by both parties for the protection and well being of this dog
